Onto a fun post! Time to celebrate good times!
After the race, we took the bus to Poly and waited about 30 min to be seated for Tonga toast, kona coffee and mimosas! So good.
Afterwards we took the monorail to MK and got on the bus. Funny story-we got on the monorail with a group and it turns out they were at our hotel and even better, on the floor above us in our building! What are the chances of that?! We kept promising we weren't following them haha.
We decided to take a quick dip in the pool. Sadly our pool was closed so we headed to the Riverside pool by golf cart. Of course they were playing the Frozen soundtrack and of course we sang along! We met some fellow runners in the hot tub and enjoyed talking to them. We did the slide as well! It's been awhile since I have been on a water slide.
We were slowly crashing and went to catch the golf cart that took awhile. We were about to take a nap on the grass when it finally came. Got back to the room and Mallory showered while I rolled/stretched and then I crashed. We decided to sleep 2 hours which turned Into longer. I got up to shower and get ready for the night. We finally left around 5 or so.
On the bus to brunch, we changed our fastpasses to later in the day and it worked great on the phone for once! I usually cannot get it to work. I think it was because we were farther away from the park. It was a smart decision as we barely made our new times and would have never made our old ones.
Made our way over to dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern and ate so much! What a great recovery meal. We also got to see the tail end of the fireworks as we were leaving.
After we watched the castle projection show (frozen is the best part!) and then got a spot for MSEP with great viewing. The best part of the parade-everyone bowed to us with our crowns on and cinderella pointed us out and said congratulations!! So fun!
We were done with the park (even though it was magic hours and a would have been a great night for that) we went to TTC and took a cab to downtown Disney so we could celebrate at Raglan Road.
The best celebration and the best time! I love the band there. closed the bar down and make to the hotel to crash around 1:30.
