I had a fabulous morning in Magic Kingdom. My red eye was a bit rough as I picked the seat in front of the emergency exit row and couldn't recline but I knew I needed to stay awake and just go to bed early. I did early entry (or magic morning as they are known now) and got to do Peter Pan, Pooh, Teacups, Dumbo, Big Thunder, Splash, Pirates, Peter, Philharmagic, 7DMT, and Space with no wait. My longest wait was 10 min for Pirates-everything else was 1-2 minutes. I had a great lunch at Be Our Guest and walked over to Contemporary to catch the shuttle to the Expo. It was waiting for me so I was able to get right on and get to the expo around 12.
I met some newbies that wanted some new tips and where to go so I chatted with them for a bit.
I went to grab my bib, shirts (which for glass slipper were in the same area) and went to shop for a bit. I only bought a sweatyband before heading into the Expo.
I had to stop for a pic with the coachmen before heading inside. I went to main merchandise and they didn't have much I wanted. I walked around, checked out the Skechers that were on sale and got some free good sense and I was done. In and out for me!
Also of note, I was having major eye issues and my eye was burning! It ended up being an allergic reaction but it didn't get better until the next day after taking medicine. For some reason, being outside in the sun made it worse! So strange!
I got off at beach club and took a potty break and walked over to Epcot. As soon as I got in, tinkerbell was there! Woohoo!
I walked straight to France to see Impressions de France and grab a Kir Royal. I walked over to the front to shop in Mouse Gears (I need to buy some new Mickey shoes next time I'm at Disneyland! ) and tried to get a fastpass for spaceship earth but the system went down-the wifi that is! I did learn you have to get your fourth fastpass at the kiosks but can edit on your phone. It came back quick enough for me to grab one randomly and edit it later. I decided to do a world showcase loop and guess who was in Epcot? GEIR NESS! Omg the maker of my favorite perfume-Laila. I had to grab a pic!
I got back to the room, got all of my stuff ready and was asleep by 8 for my 330 wake up call. I crashed hard and woke up pretty refreshed.
Overall I had an amazing first day but it makes me sad I only got to spend about 3 hours in Epcot total which is my favorite Disney park. I come enough that I know it'll be fine but I still felt rushed. At least I get to run through it twice this weekend.
I didn't see anything crazy at the expo but for being Friday afternoon, it was crowded with a lot of people buying I'm assuming outfits and costumes for the race at Raw threads, sparkle skirts, and sparkle athletic.
What did you think of the Expo? Have you ever had a jammed packed day before an Expo?
