Fort Worth was great fun!
THURSDAY
Breakfast was smoothie, eggs and a banana and yogurt and chia and flax seeds on the plane
Lunch was peanut butter, banana and sprouted wheat, berries
Dinner was tex mex! Chips and salsa and queso. I had rice and beans and enchiladas and an ice cream sandwich. So needed after an 8 mile run
FRIDAY
Breakfast-half a croissant ham and cheese, chia gel, fruit and coffee and tea
Lunch- salad (same one I had all weekend!)
Dinner- chicken fried steak and fries and beans and a margarita, sangria and 2 wines. So much fun!
SATURDAY
breakfast was eggs, bacon, potatoes and fruit
Lunch was a salad
Dinner was amazing BBQ-potato salad, cole slaw, sausage and brisket. And 2 glasses of wine after the rodeo
SUNDAY
Breakfast was just Chia gel and half an orange.
Lunch was soup and half a salad (have been the rest of it since!)
Dinner was cheese and sausage and then frito pie
I definitely need to detox as I have my 26 mile run on Sunday! The weather looks great and I'm getting pumped (taper town here I come!). But it Also means increasing my carb intake slowly.
I feel I found a good balance between indulging and being healthy. I never once felt sick and I pretty much skipped bread all weekend. I think all the food I packed really did help.
How do you usually feel after a conference? How do you prep?
