1. LAST DAY OF CLASSES!
woo woo! I finished class on Friday but the rest of the students finish today meaning we will move into Finals. The end of the semester is so near :)
2. FINAL PAPER DONE
I have 1 paper due today and one due on Sunday but my plan is to turn them both in today. I finished them last week but I have been editing them all week. I am so sick of editing but it is just part of the process. My plan is to submit today and then be DONE!!
3. CHRISTMAS RUN
My last race of the year to accomplish my 14 races in 2014! I plan on heading out from my place at 5:45 to get down to Santa Monica and pick up my bib as I won't have time to go on Friday. Afterwards will be a Dunkin Donuts run (FINALLY!!!) and a nice celebration lunch!
My goals for this race:
A-sub 58 is my ultimate goal right now as then my conversion for half marathons would be sub 2:09-yay moving up corrals
B- sub 59:21: below my current PR that I set last week at the Turkey Trot and considering this course is completely flat and I have run it 2 times before, I feel like I am in good shape
C-sub 1:02:46- my old PR from June. I know this is in me as well!
D-finish! Just in case my hip flexors (which have been tight all week) and my sciatica flairs up, as long as I finish, I will be happy :)
I am excited because this is the first year they are offering medals and a Santa hat. Can't wait to earn some Bling!
4. NEW SHOES
I had to retire a pair of shoes last weekend and I need to get at least 1, if not 2, pairs of shoes. My goal is to go either Saturday afternoon or evening to Fit2Run to use their treadmill. I may also hit up the Skechers store as well!
I will finally get to the do the Christmas stuff: It's a Small World Holiday, Jingle Cruise, Fireworks AND World of Color: Winter Dreams! I can't believe it has been almost a month and I have not seen these yet. First I had car issues, then the weather last weekend-nothing will stop me now!
