I have been using it and loving it and it's so easy to do.
On my Garmin Forerunner 220:
- Start at the home screen
- Click on settings
- Click on activity settings
- Click on Alerts
- Click on Run Walk
- You set your intervals here. Mine are set to 2:00 min/:30 sec.
It auto sets to a "lap" of 1 mile but you can change that too. Here is how to do that:
- Start at the home screen
- Click on settings
- Click on activity settings
- Click on Auto Lap
Just be warned, as I wrote about in my Rosemead 5k recap yesterday, make sure to notice when the vibrate is for your interval and when it is for your lap. I walked extra because I thought it was time for my walk break when it was not.
No more counting how many intervals you need, it is just automatic, every time you go for a run.
