I've been adjusting as best as I can with the jet lag.
I was able to freeze food before I left so most of my meals were from there. The food was a bit bland but better than eating out every meal. I was able to go grocery shopping Friday and got food for the week!
So wonky! Basically I've been passing out within 30 minutes of getting home and getting up at 5:45AM. Add in traveling to Chicago for a bachelorette party, Im not sure my sleep could be anymore wonky than it is right now. I am hoping to get back on a schedule this week.
i got in one cardio workout, one 5k run, 1 speedwork (1:57/1:55/2:14/2:05) and lots of stretching.
This week is to try and get in 2 runs, 1 piyo and 1 weight workout. I have a race on Sunday so I want to keep it light while I recover from jet lag. I'm also getting a quick procedure and getting an IUD put in so hopefully it won't effect my performance much.
1. One of my besties birthdays was in Weds and we went down the slide in Downtown LA on the top of a skyscaper
2. I got to spend 45 amazing hours with my besties from college and celebrate Allies bachelorette
3. I saw Hamilton and my life is forever changed!
Ivhave my second dissertation meeting this week so I hope I'm still on a good path!
