I did well getting back to LA. It was so nice to go grocery shopping and have a fully stocked fridge! I cooked 3 meals as soon as I got back so I would have food for this week without being stressed. This week it is all about eating right and getting back on track for the year.
Since getting back to LA, I've averaged 8 hours of sleep a night and really want to keep that up this week. The NY Race took a lot out of me so I know sleep with help with recovery.

Thursday: 3 mile run with 1 mile tempo (9:40 pace)
Friday: Rose parade viewing
Saturday: Disneyland day
Sunday: Doubleheader Challenge (10k and then half-recap coming soon!)

Tuesday: recovery yoga
Wednesday: 3 mile recovery run and weights
Thursday: 3 mile run with cadence and form drills
Friday: Yoga and 8 min Cize ab
Saturday: speed work (8x800)
Back to the grind! I'm hoping to ease back into work this week and also start prepping for my classes. I can't believe I start my dissertation a week from today! I plan on trying to get ahead on my class readings so I can really focus on prepping for my dissertation.
My run yesterday took a lot out of me and I'm hoping to spend the week recovering as I taper. Those hills were no joke!
