It is time for another recap of my week! I have decided to link up with Tara of Running n Reading as I love linkups. Make sure to check out the other bloggers there too!

On with the show!

EAT WELL
LAST WEEK: I was fantastic on the food front until Sat and then I drank alcohol Weds, Thurs and Fri. I woke up feeling bloated and pretty crappy after those nights so I definitely plan on cutting back this week.

THIS WEEK: I plan on adding a bit of carb to every meal with a full blown carbload starting Thursday-Saturday. My goal is to get as close to 350 grams of carbs per day that I can. In the meantime, I am trying to keep up my protein intake and also drinking water like it is going out of style (I am up to about 10 cups today and still going).

SLEEP WELL
LAST WEEK: I did great up until Weds when I was out way too late with my classmates celebrating a bday, and messed up my sleep for the rest of the week. i did average close to 7 hours of sleep though

THIS WEEK: My goal is to be in bed every night by 9:45 (9:30 start getting ready for bed and hopefully asleep by 10:15). I am hoping to get 8 hours of sleep the 2 nights before the LA marathon to feel rested.

EXERCISE WELL
LAST WEEK:
Sun: walking around mall still recovering
Mon:rest day-i feel recovered!
Tues: 2 mile run
Weds: weights at the gym for 30 min
Thurs: walking at the women's conference
Fri: 3 mile run
Sat: rest day but ran a lot of errands

THIS WEEK:

Sun: 6 miles at 10:40 pace. With the heat, I felt dehydrated but good!
Mon:15 min weight routine
Tues: 3 miles
Weds: Piyo upper body (skipping the gym as I am worried it may make me sore)
Thurs: 3 miles
Fri: Rest day but adding in running yoga
Sat: 3 mile shake out run- my goal is a 12 min mile pace (long run pace) and my plan is to run it at 7:25 to get an idea on what I will start in on Sunday
Sun: LA Marathon!!!

BE WELL
LAST WEEK: I had a great weekend with a fun friends bday, hung out with some friends and got some homework done and got the worlds greatest sports massage. I feel really relaxed and balanced today.

THIS WEEK: My goal is to just prep for the LA marathon! Stretch, roll, relax and breathe. I can't control the weather, but I can control everything else. I am also excited because I am going the new Cinderella (and the new Frozen short!!!!) on Saturday morning. tickets bought already :)

How was your week? What are your plans for the week?

While there are many race day factors that we can control, weather isn't one of them. I know you'll do well this weekend, regardless of how the weather turns out.
