Time for some weekly accountability! I will recapping how I have done on the 4 Well Rules over the last week: Eat Well, Sleep Well, Exercise Well and Be Well New Linkup for Monday! I will linking up with MissSippiPiddlin and HoHo Runs to talk about my week recap! Welcome to the 4 well rules that I try to follow as I go through my week! Let's get to it!

As you have noticed, I have definitely been in MIA. Wrapping up classes, the Olympics and the craziness at work (two of my coworkers have left and as of tomorrow, I will be the main full-time person in the office!), plus the start of school and students coming back have made for some long work days and some tired nights. But I am hoping everything will calm down and I can get back to posting regularly!

EAT WELL
I finally feel on track! I made a lot of food last week so I've just been eating mostly leftovers. I'm ready to finish the leftovers and start cooking again!
I've had some hit and misses with my cooking meaning I'm throwing away more food. I steamed Brussels sprouts in the rice cooker and it was awful! So gross. I bought some chicken thighs and somehow the package ripped and most of the chicken went bad! I had to toss most of it which was upsetting. I am finally going shopping after the Closing Ceremonies to get back on track at home. We had 3 days of training at work so I have not had to cook with all of our leftovers!

SLEEP WELL
I slept pretty well all week! The Olympics are really messing up my sleep as I'm streaming a lot live but am enjoying rewatching things. It's hard to go to bed at 10! I am pretty tired tonight after my 15 miles yesterday so my goal is to go to bed early to get good sleep before a long week!

EXERCISE WELL
Exercise was much better this week and an feeling like I'm on track!

TWO WEEKS AGO:
M-Piyo!
T-3 mile run + strength
w-Rest day as I finished class the night before
Th-weights using the BBG
F-rest day-my knee was super achy so I iced it and rested
S-Disneyland walking day
Sun- 5 miles with 3 at race pace (10:46, 10:21, 9:55). My first sub 10 min mile since RNRSD!

LAST WEEK:
M-BBG
T-3 miles
W-core
R-3 miles
F-unexpected rest day-somehow my sciatica flared up loading the dishwasher before my run!
S-15 miles and Disneyland
S-Rest Day

THIS WEEK:
M-weights
T- 3 miles
W-core work
T-3 miles
F-Piyo
SA-rest day
SN-5 miles and a visit to Disneyland for my bday!

BE WELL
It has been a big few weeks in my life as I passed my dissertation proposal defense!! I will write a post later this week to explain how it goes but it's such a relief. And I am also #ABD (all but dissertation) as I finished classes!
I'm so happy that my running is back on track. I know Dumbo will be slower than I would like but I know I can finish it. My 15 miles were a bit hard mainly because I did not carbload enough! It was so hard to get in enough carbs while also dealing with training at work.

And most important: the Olympics!! I have watched so much live (I'm obsessed with the streaming app) and have loved so much! I am sad it is over but I guess I have no more excuses for not running my errands I need to run haha
This week is all about the prep for my birthday!! My birthday party is on friday, going to harry potter trivia on Saturday and my actual bday next Sunday! :)

How was your week?

Glad you are well! I've had a few blue apron boxes delivered the past few weeks and they've been hit or miss. I'm looking forward to making my own meals this week!

Wow, it sounds as if you've been crazy busy. I hope things will calm down now. I didn't get to see as much of the Olympics as I wanted. I didn't do very well with my scheduling the DVR. Happy Birthday (early). It sounds like you have a fun birthday weekend planned. Thanks for linking, Juliana.

I had a achy knee yesterday too. I didn't ice it but rolled it and stretched several times during the day and all seemed to be well this morning.
I know you are so happy this dissertation is past you! Job well done!
