As you know, National Runners Day was June 1st. I posted a pic as I was wearing all of my favorite brands (Skechers performance, sparkle athletic, sweatyband, rundisney) and Skechers let me know about a contest they were running (hehe pun intended) a contest where you had to say the craziest thing that has happened on a run. I knew I could definitely compete with my 2015 WDW marathon (Race recap: Marathon part 1, Part 2)
I posted a pic of me with all of my Dopey medals, my almost finish line margarita, and a pic of us on Everest. I explained that I ran a marathon at the end of Dopey, rode a roller coaster at the halfway point, and then grabbed a margarita at mile 25 and crossed with it!
Well they liked it and I won!! I got a free pair of Skechers so of course I got a pair of the GoMeb Speed 3-my racing shoe and will save them for when my current racing shows are done.
I took them out for a quick walk yesterday (since I can't run with my knee yet) and they are awesome as always!
