My goal is to post a recipe a week and some of them will be QEMs aka Quick Easy Meals. This one took me about 10 minutes total. I cooked it while doing weights yesterday morning. This a great recipe if you need to get rid of veggies that are about to go bad
As always, if you are going grain free (brown rice doesn't have gluten) then omit the rice. I added it as part of my carb loading for the week!
My recipes are very different than most as I don't measure much, I just go by look and feel and taste (I get this from my mom who cooks the same way). I also use oil and seasonings a lot so feel free to adjust.
Prep, cook and serving time: 15 min (longer if you need to cook rice)
Servings: I had 3 but those was for main lunch meals. You could get away with more if it's a side.
-Veggies for a stir fry (I used Targets stir fry mix with broccoli, carrots, snap peas and water chestnuts)
-oil for the wok/pan
-seasonings to taste (I used salt, pepper, garlic, onion, ginger, soy sauce and hot sauce and sesame seeds)
-rice (I had a container of brown ready rice leftover from when I got it at the Disneyland half expo)
See pictures for steps. So easy to do and fast!
