MONDAY- rest day after a crazy busy weekend
TUESDAY- 2.2 miles (11 minute pace). humidity is killer and the shoes issues started
WEDNESDAY- stretching and a bit of a rest day
THURSDAY-5k. i haven't run 3 miles during the week in a very long time!
FRIDAY- rest day but spent the day running errands so I was active
SATURDAY- 30 minute yoga
SUNDAY-4 miles (11:24 pace-the weather is killer!), stretching and rolling
Overall, I did okay. I need to get back into stretch training. Today was the first day I didn't feel completely sick waking up (and strangely a lot of my friends and coworkers are feeling the same way! Must be the weather and something going around).
PLAN FOR THIS NEXT WEEK
MONDAY-15 minutes with weights
WEDNESDAY- rest day but will be doing at least 15-20 minutes of stretching/yoga
FRIDAY- happy 4th! Spending the morning at Disneyland and then going to a firework event downtown
SATURDAY- 2 miles- straight running (if the weather will cooperate with me). lots of stretching and rolling
SUNDAY- 9.5 miles! my longest run to date. I want to practice slowing down in the heat
I am also in the planning phase of creating an every day workout that will involve squats, abs, planks and stretching. I will update when I have it completed.
